Village of Bellaire Downtown Development Authority Welcomes New Director

Bellaire, Michigan — September 3, 2026 — The Village of Bellaire Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is proud to announce the appointment of Marcy Dwyer as its new DDA Director.

Marcy brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience to the role, with a strong background in event planning, grant writing and implementation, board management, communications, and community engagement.

In the coming months, Marcy will focus on helping streamline DDA board processes, pursuing and managing grant opportunities, and connecting with local downtown businesses to better understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

“We are so excited to welcome Marcy to the Downtown Bellaire team,” said representatives of the Bellaire DDA. “Her experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to community will be a tremendous asset as we continue working to support and strengthen our downtown.”

Marcy looks forward to getting to know Bellaire’s business community and working collaboratively with local business owners, community partners, and the DDA Board to help create a vibrant and thriving downtown.

The Bellaire DDA welcomes Marcy to the team and looks forward to the experience and energy she will bring to Downtown Bellaire.
